I just wanted to do a quick post today. I recently read, PlayStation has announced that if you own one of the select Samsung smart TV's you can stream the PlayStation Now service straight to the TV without even owning a PS3. That's hundreds of PS3 games right at your finger tips. You don't need the console and you don't need downloads. You will however, need a PS4 controller and of course one of the select Samsung Smart TV's.
The service will include online play, saves to the cloud and of course trophies, all for only $20 for a one month subscription or you can get three months for $45. You can also rent individual games if you don't want to subscribe. Read more about it on the PlayStation website.
I somehow doubt that would be playable in Australia. The low internet quality here and US servers would probably make the input lag incredibly high :/
